ST. PAT'S PARADE IN KINGSTON

These are just a few pictures of the St Patrick's Day Parade held this Sunday in Kingston. A cool but sunny day gave us a repreive after Saturday's disasterous downpour.

I marched with most of the Common Council, followed by several members of the UC Legislature accompanied by Nina Postupac, County Exec candidate Mike Hein and Congressman Maurice Hinchey.

The parade had over 100 units and took two hours to trek down Broadway only to merge with the massive crowd dressed in green at Gallo Park.

Regardless of anyone’s nationality or religion, this town really knows how to party and the chill in the air wasn’t about to stop the festivities. Well done everyone.
