How is it that you were the only elected official on the property during this press release? No Sign of Quigley, Wadnola, Maloney or any of the town board members? What's going on here?
Yupp, sounds like an idiot, as usual. The guy sticks with the same 10 verbs and adjectives and he really needs to grab a dictionary. I am offended as a taxpayer. I could go on and on but the video is enough proof. Thank you Mike.
Stephan; the people in Ulster have little or no interest in anything TECHCITY and the sooner you get that, the sooner you'll stop asking such questions. Creating jobs is just a catch phrase. Getting tax breaks for those who already run those companies and sending jobs to foreign countries is the end goal. The day RePaladinos actually show concern and act on our behalf is the day one of those bodysnatcher pods got them.
In the Freeman: Vincent Cozzolino, chief executive officer of The Solar Energy Consortium, said the company was being courted by other states, including Florida and New Jersey, as well as other countries, but the Hudson Valley “is getting attention as the place to go if you want to be in the business.”
I'm guessing the thought of jobs coming to New York or even Ulster County infuriates Phillips. One of our strongest loophole supporters. What will his campaign financiers say to this one?
At a quick glance at the list of Solar/Energy type companies that have moved into the Ginsberg buildings, I'd say Cahill, Bonacic and Hinchey have done a good job this past decade. Like their politics or not, they have worked well together to fertilize the growth in our region. Cant say as much for the three amigos Stephan mentioned.
Hinchey has to be the most vapid windbag ever to step behind a podium. It's painful to listen to "marvelous things" and "I just want to thank you" 683 times in a 10-min speech. That said, I'll vote for him. As mediocre as he is, he's got seniority and that counts in our screwed up system. TSEC shows it.
11:03 you are what is wrong with the current state of government affairs. are you kidding me? So let me get this straight... you vote for a man who is clearly fading mentally and you are not really thrilled with his current abilities but you will send him back to Washington to embarrass us here in NY and Ulster County. DO NOT COMPLAIN if everything turns to s**t while Hinchey is seated at the table. He might just might be ineffective if Republicans take over the seats. Just another bump on the log and you are rewarding him for bad behavior. I have voted for Hinchey in the past but with the world situation as it is now I need a representative who can see the BIG picture and not just one issue of jobs and how much pork he gets. As to his speeches, maybe Obama can lend him the teleprompter.

So many words, so little substance.
