While I personally think Mr. Paladino is 100 per cent wrong on this issue...he has the courage to say what he thinks. With too many politicians they either stay silent or give the issue lip service and do nothing about it. The issue of gay rights and gay marriage is not going away until it is resolved in favor of allowing gays to have equal rights under the law.

There is a Senatorial Candidate in the Hudson Valley that shall be unnamed that received 30K from the same group in Williamsburg to defeat the presumed Democrat nominee in a primary, just so the incumbent Republican would have a better chance. That Democrat now sounds more like Paladino than Cuomo when confronted on Reproductive and Sexual Orientation issues. Cant say I feel sorry for the local committees on this one.

Welcome back Senator Larkin.

Apparently, he doesn't like gays (unless we find out later that he has another life on the down-low...) --- but he does like to see women in bondage (tied up and down on their knees) - beastiality - and other such things [how many folks have actually SEEN (there is a blog they have been posted on, with the worst blacked out...) the emails he reputedly forwarded?]. Aghhhhh! "Who let the dogs out?"

Paladino is the gift that keeps on giving. Every day, in every way, he helps Democratic candidates. The polls keep moving more and more to the Dems and Carl will bring down the whole Republican ticket.

I commend Paladino for his honesty. He clearly states that he is not anti-gay....but he is Catholic and is merely stating something that he believes. Not every religion endorses homosexuality. That's the way it is....it doesn't mean you are terrible or deserve to be bullied or treated poorly.

But at least he is HONEST....disagree with him or not.

This is America and we all have freedom of speech. Somethings said are slightly offensive but it is refreshing in this PC climate that someone will still speak his mind. I am of Irish descent and it wasn't too long ago that we were the besmirched ethnic group. Now we laugh at ourselves and it's cool.
As to Paladino's comment of the two gay guys grinding themselves into each other at the gay pride parade,in my opinion he was right. It was offensive to simulate the sex act. If a heterosexual couple had done that they would probably have been cited as an obscene act/lewdness in a public place and I wouldn't have condoned that act either. If the gays want acceptance into the culture than they should police there own and make it a class act. It demeans your sexual proclivity and when you say nothing about the few that are over the top in public displays people think you are all like that. But I know that is not true as my cousin is a homosexual and he is a class act. We love and accept his long time partner as part of the family but he would never think of PDA that borders on being inappropriate. If you love your partner gay or straight your happiness is achieved by respect you give each other and your desire to be sure they are respected by the outside world. Otherwise one comes across as having a sexual preference that just hops from one bed to another.
I know I will probably get slammed on my comment but as I stated..this is America.
