BRUSH CUTTING CREW
This is a picture of the upper side of Hudson Street where it meets W Pierpont.
Now, I'm not in the habit of just throwing random pictures of Ward Nine on the Blog without reason.
But the DPW crew responsible for trimming brush in troublesome areas in the City have done a terrific job in a spot that always tested my ability to keep clean.
They did an equally terrific job in Ward Eight. The Abeel Street parking lot near Hone Street looks like it was parked out for pictures, so I took a picture.
When an action like this makes this much of an impact with little expense to the taxpayer, I have to applaud the crew.
Job well done. Keep it up.

I'm going to make a point to drive up Hudson Street and I'll give you my opinion later. Starting with, why havent you taken down that stop sign yet?
I almost hit you on Abeel St in Wilbur. If you insist on raking leaves in the dark, at least wear something more visible for us drivers. When will the sweeper get what you put out there?
It is great that the brush cutting crew is out this early in the season to cut and remove debris before it overgrows and takes over the roadways. The crew does an outstanding job when they focus on cutting enough brush back. Otherwise, they have to be called back and that is often difficult when they have other details to attend to during the busy summer months. Kudos though to the work crew. Keep up the good work.
