VALLEY CHAT - CHANNEL 23 - TONIGHT

Tuesday night, Sept 9th, I interviewed Larry Delarose on Channel 23.

Larry is running for New York State Senate in the 39th District which includes the City of Kingston, Esopus, Lloyd, Plattekill, Marlborough and most of Orange County.

Its a huge task and the stakes are high. Control of the State Senate leadership is in the balance and with a few tight races, the Democrats could assume the majority.

Larry is one of many candidates that threaten the Good Ol Boys Club in Albany. It is a rare opportunity for me to get a guest on "Valley Chat" that may be the cause of the power shift in a chamber that hasnt had an ethical day in decades.

His new campaign headquarters for the northern half of the district will be shared with Elliott Auerbach at 315 Wall St.

Its rare to see me on the show with a suit on, most of the shows are a relaxed forum, but it was fun anyway. With only some minor technical issues, the show went without any problems and exposure for Larry was instrumental. Thanks for tuning in.

Kingston and Esopus are the only towns in our viewing hub that reside in District 39

I just can’t understand why bill berardi's sponsored, Blaber's News and Commentary. And did not sponsor (kingston public access tv) to keep it on the air?

I love the fact that we can occasionally get a glimps of a local candidate on our TV right in our homes, thanks to public access.

We really have to settle the problems with funding the channel. Kingston and the towns have to step up, fund the station and get over whatever is stalling the process.

Your interview, win or lose, is one of the reasons I watch Ch 23. How else can I get the raw story. Sometimes too raw, but its real TV.

Thanks Mike
