KINGSTON CLEANUP 2010

Although the City of Kingston is in no way as paralyzed as New York City, we do have some narrow streets that cause some minor traffic issues. One of the tools our city has invested in is the CAT S300. With all the attachments that came with the $150K purchase, I think we will get our money's worth.

I just had to get some footage of this little machine in action.

I like to see our DPW crews working. To catch them on video and show the world how good they are at snow removal has got to make our friends in NYC crazy. Nice of you to display their efforts on YouTube and on the blog.

Tonka toys for real!!! The crew did a good job of snow removal. Looked outside during the real early morning hours and was dismayed to see no real plowing but by the time I actually awakened 3 hours later...presto, a clean sweep down my street. Now if only the idiot who left his car on the street had moved, it would have been an even better job. Why wasn't his car towed?? But he was buried in real high snow after the plow went thru..Too bad for him.

Where any cars towed during this last storm.
