BREAK THEIR WINDOWS CAMPAIGN

So here we are, the few short days after the US Congress and President have initiated sweeping legislation on health insurance, and the cries for a militia uprising have become louder. As reported on the News and through the internet, there is a band of wildcats warning of the upcoming days of tyranny and that we should prepare our arsenal for the big fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Three Percent.

I kid you not. These are folks who are preparing to gather at a State Park in Virginia, the closest one to DC that allows firearms, on April 19th. Why April 19th? Because they celebrate the heroic act of Timothy McVeigh on that day in '95 when he blew up the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City.

One of the featured speakers at this event? Mike Vanderboegh. He's the author of this strange manifesto that has caught the attention of the FBI in recent months. On his Blog, he writes:

We can emulate the Sons of Liberty of old.
We can break their windows.

These windows are n
ot far away from where you are reading this right now. In virtually every city and county in this land, there is a local headquarters of Pelosi's party -- the Democrat party. These headquarters invariably have windows.

When the Sons of Liberty wanted to express their opposition to the actions of the King's ministers, they would gather in front of the homes and offices of his tax-collectors and government officials in Boston or New York and break their windows. Glass was expensive. The King's minions were often the most well-to-do.

The Sons of Liberty hit them in their pocketbooks.
Before we have to resort to rifles to resist their "well intentioned" tyranny. This is
not to say that the GOP (I refuse to call them "Republicans" for that is a misuse of the word) does not bear a large measure of responsibility for the situation we find ourselves in today. However, they have opposed this Intolerable Act.

Yet, if we do a thorough job of breaking Democrat windows, I am sure that the GOP will profit from the example.
So, if you wish to send a message that Pelosi and her party cannot fail to hear, break their windows. Break them NOW.

Break them and run to break again. Break them under cover of night. Break them in broad daylight. Break them and await arrest in willful, principled civil disobedience. Break them with rocks. Break them with slingshots. Break them with baseball bats. But BREAK T
HEM.

The time has come to take your life, your liberty and that of your children and grandchildren into your own two hands and ACT. It is, after all, more humane than shooting them in self defense. And if we do a proper job, if we break the windows of hundreds, thousands, of Democrat party headquarters across this country, we might just wake up enough of them to make defending ourselves at the muzzle of a rifle unnecessary.

Sons of Liberty, this is your time. Break their windows!

So, here we have Sarah Palin's Lock-n-load FaceBook comments, Glenn Beck advocating for street violence while at the same time as this "slack jaw" in Alabama is claiming credit for the dozen or so attacks on official properties across the country and advocating for more.

Someone should point out that while he's railing against the government and the evil takeover of health care, that his mere existence relies on his monthly disability check from...that same evil government he is speaking of.

April 19th...really?!

While I am not a supporter of this 3% thing, I do have to point out some inaccuracies in your post.

I realize that to get the best bang for your propoganda buck you have to drag out the ramblings and actions of some ingrate in an attempt to label anyone that does not share your point of view as a terrorist and a nut. However the Three Percent movement's use of the date April 19th has nothing to do with with the actions of that babykiller McVeigh, but rather that date was the start of the Revolutionary War with the battle of Concord.

Your post is nothing more than ignorant propaganda and I would expect more from you. It is the same as someone trying to blame the liberal and progressive movement for the bombings of the 60's and 70's, and criminal acts done by the fringe enviromental movements. Heck why don't you do a post on the Black Panthers being an arm of the civil rights movement.

These outright attacks on people for their beleifs serve to do nothing but embolden and inspire them. For good and bad, the election of Obama was the result of an inspired core group who suffered 8 years of doing the very same thing you are doing to those that you see as your opposition.

The Battle of Concord is well documented, and although I could have highlighted that significant date in the post, Mike's Militia neglected to in their tv interviews.

9:01...The date is a factor in this because they had chosen to glorify that sad event more than our courageous beginings.

The temptation to throw partisan bombs is strong both in the articles and the comments. My readers expect a progressive, non-libel & non-violent slant to my reports. Just having the word "progressive" in my title makes the Beck followers suspect everything they read here. But that's the nature of the beast. I ask for it I guess.

I think we all recognize the need to dampen the furver that these violent urges in these fringe groups. Meanwhile it's fun to write about them.

Not they, a fringe portion of their group uses the date of April 19th. Like this Mike's Militia, who is probably nothing more than some social reject that comes out of his mother's basement long enough to toast a pop tart and go back to his blog ramblings. The closest thing to a militia that this guy has is probably him and some of his reject friends runnning around the woods in their pajamas with airsoft guns.

As far as the mainstream of the Tea Party and 3%/Oathkeepers movement they do not honor the actions of murderous cowards. You would infact be very surprised just how many "normal" people support the intent of these movements Republican, Democrat, Civilian, Law Enforcement, and military. My guess is it will only be so long before these groups are hijacked by one of the two political parties, then the fringe will drift back into their mother's basements and normal people will go back to being pissed off under their breath.

After all the Republicans, Democrats and all of their various core support groups can't afford to have groups like the Tea Party taking away all of the fired up moderates and independents from their rolls. Where would the parties and groups like the NRA, Planned Parenthood, ACORN, and the Heritage Foundation be if they could not incite distrust of the other side to boost their fundraising. Ask yourself how much did ACORN, Move-on, and other groups rake in because of Bush. And how much are the conservative groups raking now off of this Health Care joke. This new overhaul was the best thing that could have happened for both sides. For the Republicans it's obvious "Send us your money so we can repeal this" and for the Liberals "Send us your money because this isn't good enough".

The whole thing is a joke and moderates/independents see this and will hopefully continue to walk away from the lying Democrats and lying Republicans.

Both parties have been unjust to their political constituents. (Rep.& Dem). I can see more people turning to the Independent party because their political beliefs straddle both parties. A little bit of Dem. and a little bit of Rep. This is a critical time in American politics. This American believes that the career politicians are not really listening to their voters and so do a lot of others. They are angry and the only way to get Washington's attention is to go "radical" in speeches and demonstrations. Now they are paying attention. I don't agree with the sometimes violent rhetoric but anything to get our representatives to pay attention to our concerns is worth the disparaging feedback from elected figures and news commentators.
Can you hear us now???

Mike, as was stated last night on your program, the issue here is much more than policy. There is a deep seeded distrust of anyone unlike ourselves. That's just reality.
The fact that Obama is black does add momentum to any desire to act out on impulses that would otherwise be tempered.
I wish it weren't so, but the first step toward recovery is admitting what plagues you.
I don't think the left had a racist edge to what they protested during the Bush era. They may have been verbally abusive to that white man, but comparatively tame when we see people tapping into that dark racial third rail in public discourse today.

Will you be on every Wednesday?

Ok, let me see if I have this straight if someone calls Bush a Nazi, it is a deep seated distrust.....blah, blah, blah. But if some calls Obama a Nazi it is racist. That is the dumbest, stupidist, most idotic thing I have ever heard.

I hate to break this to you but, Obama stopped being black the day he became President. He is our President and Leader of the Free World. It is wrong to personally attack him, free speech or not and legal or not. But to try to justify in your mind that it is worse to personally attack him as opposed to any other person that served in his position is plain stupid. How many times did we see effigy's of Bush and others burned or hung some where by sick demented persons (defended as free speech by Pelosi and Schumer I might add)? God help the sick idiot that does that to an effigy of our current president, and that double standard my friend is as wrong as the act in the first place. And if it happens I hope they expell any Republican politician that tries to defend it as free speech as Pelosi and company did.

Does that make members of the left racist for their extrmemly sick personal attacks against Secretary Rice during her tenure, or do black conservatives not count as being black?

There are sick and ignorant people on both sides of the political spectrum, don't bring yourself down to their level by making excuses for the ones that happen to share your point of view or belong to your party. And certainly don't give them the attention that they seek. But just because a normal person doesn't agree with someone of a different race doesn't make them racist. Right is Right, Wrong is Wrong and Fair is Fair.
