MAPLE STREET JUNGLE

Is there anything the city can do about 19 Maple Street in Ward Eight? Just asking...

That would be a violation of the maintenance section of the NYS Building Codes. Would it not?

How about cut down the weeds and mow the lawn? Sound like a plan?

Mike,

This propery has been cited multiple times
on this issue. We are working on a new program with YouthBuild to assist the City in maintaining these types of properties. This belongs at the top of the list.

I saw you weeding the City garden on Delaware Avenue. Why dont you and some volunteers tackle this lawn and bill the property owner and/or the city.

Maybe Hasbrouck Park will be next?

A picture is worth a 1,000 words - that's what got City Hall Steps fixed.

Have you looked at City owned property, the Police and Court facility, the uptown parking garage. But I see the City had time to once again cut the weeds at Dr. Habeebs office on CLinton avenue. Why is this and can't take care of there own property. The whole city is grown up with weeds.
