To 9:52: One has to wonder if Wadnola's constituents understand the depth of his greed. I mean, he is running a business that is funneling Republican events and "other taxpayer funded (read RRA)" functions there, he collects all that money from taxpayer funded pensions, and yet he has to hit the taxpayers one more time for that last 20k legislative pay. Just because it is there and he can legally take it, doesn't mean he has to take it. When is enough, enough?
Fred Wadnola treats the taxpayers like his own personal ATM.
6:26...I would have to agree with you. Had Larry been the candidate in 2010, we would have had a better chance against Larkin. To add to that, Had "Team Skartados" focused on Frank's re-election, instead of wasting time and money on "Horrible Harley" Doles, we would have been attending his swearing in at the diner a second time.
Hey what about Maloney Ulster Assessor, town of Kingston Assessor, county legislator. Usually at the coffee shop or the town hall on our dime. Sucking the milk from the taxpayers and they could care less. By the way his Ulster gig $500 uniform allowance $125 work boots, a car
11:44 I agree with you, but I beg to differ. It can be done in the private sector. Many people retire and are hired back doing the same job as a contractor because of their skill set. It is less now because many private pensions are gone. There is no reason for a politician to do this, because there is no special skill involved other than shoveling BS.
This goes on right here in Kingston. Look at the fire department and see that the mechanic is collecting a firemens pension and a City paycheck. Pays nothing for health insurance. This is a perk that needs to stop.
With the gas prices go up, which makes the price of everything else go up, why is the government still trying to layoff employees? Because the above statement means the government is collecting more and more tax money they are trying to tell us they don't have! GREED WILL BE THE END TO ALL OF US.Keep people working and off the street.
The celebration begins today in the Town of Ulster. Nick Woerner has moved back to the City of Kingston! Parade will start at Tech City and end up at Chambers Court! Come one, come all!
Lets not leave Hinchey off this list. There is no party dominance in regard to greed. He has managed to become a multimillionaire without ever having a private sector job. And most men would be broke after one divorce. He has had3. The situation stinks. Maybe those folks in Wisconsin have the right idea. We must rein this in.
Speaking of Hinchey, he has been collecting his state pension of 36k a year since 1993. All the while serving as a US Congressman. He is coming up on 20 years worth of double dipping. Way to lead.
Reign in the unions, stop the insane pay scales for public employees and start holding the crooks accountable The other choice is to keep going broke as a country Most of the dems in the US seem to think this is a good plan We are all doomed, even if the Ed show says all is good and its Bush's fault

From what I understand, many NYS Judge's are playing this game too.
Larry Delarose, the one we let get away. He could have beaten Larkin. Stay active Larry, we want you back as our candidate.
What about Wadnola? He must be doing some major league double dipping.
Wayne Haris also a retired teacher, town rec director, county legislator.
Wadnola is at least triple dipping.
1) School around 78k

2) Elected official 38k

3) Navy reserve 35K est.
est. $150K annual pension benefits, and he still takes the 20k Legislative salary.
Wadnola disgusts me.

+1 on the disgusts me list.
There is no cost savings unless you take away the pension. Duh!
It may not seem fair...but it's not double dipping.
Again there is no cost savings to the Taxpayer.
9:41.
It is simple, you should not be able to collect a public pension and a public paycheck at the same time.
Either suspend/postpone the pension, or don't take the public salary. You should not be able to take both.
Even if you can, morally and ethically it is wrong. You certainly could not do that in the private sector.

No one will ever confuse Bill Larkin with an ethical person.
