This would be the public toilet at Staples in Ulster, N.Y. I actually had to tighten the seat bolts to navigate this device without risking injury.
Is this the level of health concern we should expect in the commercial stores across America? Is this where we've come?
Here's your homework assignment... Go out and get pictures of the worst public bathrooms you can find. Send them to my email address with the locations and I'll post the vile discoveries here. This should be interesting.

Mike, if The Basement was still open, they would have taken the cake for most disgusting bathroom. I've heard stories about Wal-Mart bathrooms as well from a friend who's a plumber.
I'm impressed with Office Depot's bathroom. Ruby Tuesday's too.
Ewwwwwww!! Kudos for touching that filthy commode!!

Was in Target's(HVM) restroom the other day and was noticing how clean it was for such a public bathroom. Now if they can just get rid of the turbo hand dryer. Just about blew my rings off the other day while drying my hands.
I have used bathroom status as a guide for restaurants. The bathroom is usually a good indicator of how they keep the kitchen.
5:58, umm, sometimes you would be surprised. If you ever want to know a good eating establishment, watch how many patrons they get. If they're always busy and always able to delivery top quality food then you know they're good. Oh and one more thing, if you really want to see the kitchen all you have to do is ask. I'm sure any manager who's proud of what they have would be more than happy to show you. If not, then raise eyebrows.
